Hello, My name is Fran McDade and I would like to start by telling you “My recipe for Success”

And with this in mind, we should both be REWARDED with a new relationship, no matter what the outcome of our transactions.
I began my Real Estate journey over 30 years ago and worked for many different firms, then starting my own business “McDade Homes”. During my early years, I managed Sales, learned Property Management and worked my way up to Vice President of a large Building/Realty company where I continued to hone my business and management skills. I then started McDade Homes in 1983 and at the same time, started my building company “McDade Builders”.
I earned a degree at Kilgore College in Applied Technology and later was the first women in Texas to be certified as a Master Graduate Builder. As you might imagine, there were a lot of firsts in the building business being a woman in East Texas. I was also the first woman to serve as President of the East Texas Builders Association. I served as director of the Longview and State board of the National Board of Builders; as well as, Board of Director for the HABITAT FOR HUMANITY for 5 years and I must tell you this is a very worthy cause and even more rewarding personally.
On a personal note, I have 4 grown children, 2 men, 2 women and 9 grandchildren. I am an active participant at St. Mary's Catholic Church and highly endorse St. Mary's school. My hobbies include Reading (mainly mystery novels), fishing, tennis and a general enjoyment of the outdoors.

I have lived in Longview for over 30 years and can't imagine living anywhere else. Although Real Estate and Building has been part of my family for many years, I am just beginning a new career in this exciting field. I have spent the last 28 years of my career in the manufacturing arena of which the last 10 were as Vice President and Business Manager. I have been involved in every aspect of running a successful business but spent much of my time focused in the sales area. I believe that you must get the customer “What they want”, “When they want it”, “at the most competitive price” and all of this must be accomplished effectively and efficiently. My commitment to you will be to do whatever it takes to help achieve your objectives.
About me personally, I graduated from a local High School (Hallsville) and then attended Kilgore Jr. College where I earned an Associates in Computer Science and later attended UT Tyler where I worked towards a Bachelors in Business Management. I have been married for 24 years to a wonderful husband and loving father. My husband is plant manager of Trinity Industries (tank car manufacturer) and has also lived in Longview for over 35 years. We have one son (R.J.) who is attending Kilgore College with the goal of receiving a Process Technology degree. Our family hobby is RC racing, our son is the driver and we are the pit crew, we travel around the country attending many racing events. We are also big Nascar fans and when we retire, we would love to travel around the country attending all the Nascar events.
